Charleys War Fanart Colouring Project-Episode 15 + Charley (between the )Wars Episode 1& 2

I think Charley was actually back in Blighty during Christmas 1916 (but it'll be a few years  till I'll get to those pages)-It's been a  good while since I posted last episode https://johnohvision.blogspot.com/2023/11/charleys-war-colouring-project-episode.html but here's my latest colouring of Pat Mills and JOe Colquhoun's Charleys War

 

The next episodes a classic and introduces one of Pat Mills greatest  villians.

This page originally came out in 1979  whilst these below are the start of Scott Goodalls Second World War  era Charley which came out in 1985 in Battle Action Force weekly ( which may or may not be reprinted one day) ,  Not the greatest sized  scans but I did enjoy colouring Joes work on these  he truly is the main man. (soon to get a Apex Edition  too just like the 2000ad artists)

 Back to the second summer of love 1987 and the mighty Zenith 

Something I've been working on over the summer up to now  , thought I'd  dip my feet into Superhero genre cept he's more like my type of Superhero  Grant Morrison &  Steve Yeowell's Zenith  : Phase One .Letters by Mark King (always thought it was bass player from Level 42 at the time these came out lol] honourable mention to Brenden McCarthy who came up with character designs  

I'll start at the proper start introduction to MaxiMan  "Whitlock" which appeared after The Prolouge by a year but stories in the correct order  of events

 

Good to see Zeniths universe back in 2000ad after a 35 or so years in  Rob Williams , Patrick Goddard  Steve Yeowell and Dylan Teagues Red Dragon  .

 I'll post the first episode  where Zen boy appears once I get other projects out the way (almost completed Judge Anderson plus, Cursed Earth episodes but next up will be a few episodes of Charleys War which I aim to complete for Armistace day 

But who is this Zenith geezer anyway? he  hasn't even turned up in story yet  I'll let 2000ad  explain
