I've coloured this  Mike McMahon page before with much more murkier sloshy colours (tried to go for something different from original it didn't work for me https://johnohvision.blogspot.com/2023/03/colouring-project-judge-dredd-cursed.html ) like the Action cover the other week if it's not broke don;t fix it so in this instance it's far closer to the original as it's a truimphant image - plus had to make the Landraider more like the Matchbox toy (I can't wait till the next centrespead as it's one of the best ) I think Mike was about 22 or 23 when he drew these pages -Genius but through hard work The Cursed Earth Episode One -Story Pat Mills-Art Mike McMahon Lettering Tom Frame

Only 200 odd pages to go (which is nothing compared to Charleys War and Slaine ...which I've been working on over the week as well as Darkies Mob .. trying out different stories lately gives me a reason to get out of bed .. R.I.P Red O'Donnell whose early adventures with Dredd can be read in the novellas The Rightous Man and Fallen Angel by Michael Carroll I hope Year Four is in the pipeline as that would be a major event in the Dreddverse the outbreak of Civil War between Mega City One and Texas City..I'm hoping that's canon.

Jeez what a planet can't even trust the BBC globe anymore needs to be attacked by Emu. .. wish people pay attention to my prior posts .. having a go at Slaine at the moment.. he's 40 already .. makes me feel young again as I coloured same episode as a teenager in felt tips  so it's fun to return years later.

Couldn't really post this on rememberance Sunday as it's meant to be a day of peaceful reflection  and consideration (someone tell the politicians that  oppotunist war criminal dirtbags ! ) mind you it took longer again as the amount of detail on just three pages  is incredible as well as trying to get the uniforms weapons and landscape  is tricker than you can imagine no one noticed my Mestizo people on Feckbook think I'm a imposter  may not bother with social media at all at this rate  but heres another page  from the Mestizo collection  which can be found at Treasury of British Comics

I don't like Mondays -posted this on feckbook no one notices ,  meta is shite  got my own verse thank you very much. so I'll keep chugging on with these  .. then again theres's too much to think about coloured these to distract me from real world events , too awful to comprehend ,the obvious answer  to all this is occams razor remove the cancer  or in other words the crackpot  politicians  making this world a living nightmare -not ally with them ffs!

Here's Carlos and Brett Cover I recoloured the other day

My mate wanted me to tackle Keith Watsons Dan Dare  so I'll do a page a week if  i'm not busy .. I will be  this week with Charley though as I'm aiming for Armistice Day 

Dan's a Manc so if it ever becomes a live action  streaming series or video game keep that in mind.  This is the second version made a few changes to  Dan and Digby  as I had them in flight suits  this is more emu handler gear seeing as they in Oz .. this was ten years before I was born so seriously old school but if you ever see how brillant the colours are on the original Eagles I'm so inspired .. comics or at least British comics were better coloured
