 Cover Brian Lewis an artist that was present in the very early days of 2000ad if he had lived beyond 1978 he'd be just be one of 2000ads legendary art droids   having been a profilic artist throughout the 1950's and 60's  I first saw his art in Hammer Horror comics along with Brian Bolland  who I'll colour more of in the next episode

Zenith Fan Art Colouring Project - Episode 1-"Dropping In" & Episode 2 "Blow Up"

 Chapter 1 & 2  of Zenith first printed in 2000ad back in 1987 in black and white at the time I'd buy two copies so I could colour various strips with felt tips  so this is second time around   I've attempted to do  this only it's  38 years later  and with photoshop , 38 years seems like  is a blink of the eye I remember the era vividly Boris Becker first Wimbeldon and Gilbert the Alien , two years away from leaving school , I even made a big folder for my art at school which had Zenith's logo and a Watchmen smiley -it actually felt like the times were a changin' - Finally after my last Zenith post we get to meet the titular character 

 

 

Seems like the many angled ones are back in 2025 we need Zenith more than ever -I wonder if anyone can convince Grant to write Zenith Phase 5 ? seeing as Red Dragons flying so high at the moment in 2000ad
